We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a freelance/contract basis. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver user-centric features.
- Work with Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and other modern frameworks.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
- Stay updated with the latest Android trends and technologies.
Requirements:
✅ Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on Android development.
✅ Languages: Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
✅ Frameworks & Tools: Experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Android Jetpack components.
✅ APIs & Databases: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, Firebase, Room DB, and offline storage.
✅ Version Control: Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows (GitHub, Bitbucket).
✅ Debugging & Testing: Strong skills in unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
✅ Communication: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android.
- Knowledge of KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform) is a plus.
- Prior experience working in freelance or contract roles.
